We are always pleased to receive donations of good quality items of clothing, household, bric-a-brac, books, games and audio. We are sorry we cannot accept electrical goods (including computer equipment) due to safety reasons or large items of furniture. Please bring all items to either shop during opening hours, please do not leave in doorways or on the street where they may cause an obstruction.
Funds raised from the sales in our shops enable us to establish a stock of equipment for loan (see Equipment available for loan) and make donations to many local worthy causes (see Donations)
Both shops are open between the hours of 10.00 to 13.00 except fiestas.
We have extensive bookshops with prices for paperbacks from 50c.
Our very useful Tell the Doctor booklets are on sale at just 5 euros at both shops.

Charity Shops
The JALON shop is located in c/Lepanto s/n above the old Doctor´s surgery in Jalon Village and is open 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday (except Fiestas)

Summer Opening
The Jalon shop will close on Friday 30th July and re open on Monday 30th August. It will however be open on Tuesdays only throughout August (except fiestas) with Special Sales on. So come along a find different bargains every Tuesday in August.
The Alcalali Shop will remain open all through the summer with the normal opening hours of 10am to 1pm Monday to Saturday. On Thursdays throughout August there will be Special Sales on.
